This book was written and released in June 2019. It was, and is, a prophetic book about the events that were coming in 2020 - the following year, and beyond. I didn't know then it would mean a global pandemic, or that it would lead to the world going into lockdown as it did. I just knew we were coming up to a seminal moment in world history - or as I was given it - a 'watershed' moment, that would lead to a 'sea change' in the affairs of the world. I went on to explain those terms, that the world was coming into the end-time birthing season, spoken of in scripture, and that it would be a rough time for us all, though also a time of real blessing for believers and the church.

Immediately after the pandemic there then came the Russia-Ukraine war and the constant threat of WW3, so the 2020's decade has more-or-less turned out as expected.

Actually, the commission to write this book only came when I just completed my previous book titled - The Original Church To Come, and I then said to God - "How will you authenticate this book?" He then gave me the 2020 book to write, so these books are in some way linked because, I believe, God wanted to make an important point about what is coming for the church, so he marked it with a strong sign as I have found he sometimes does for something really important.

As they say - the rest is history, though the birthing contractions will undoubetly continue in one form or another until the birth the scriptures speak of is fully realised.

More than 25 years before these events, when I was a much younger Christian, God took me into the Book of Revelation for a while and showed me some key things. But he didn't give me the full release to talk or write about it for some time. However, when I came to write this book God led me to include those thoughts so this book is not just about the year 2020, but about what we can expect for the end-times. That alone suggests the time is near and the present generation need to know about it. For that reason alone I still encourage people to read the book because one thing it will help you to realise is God is in control of the world events, even down to the fine detail, and that is a comforting thought.

The history of mankind is approaching a key time…

In the middle months of 2020 there will be a WATERSHED moment that will bring a SEA CHANGE in the affairs of the world.

I am issuing this prophecy in mid-2019 as a right word for a right time. Things in the earth are about to change. I therefore find I am led to release this book as an explanation of that prophecy, as far as I have it, together with a fairly comprehensive statement of my understanding of the end times as God has given it to me over the years. I believe there are quite a number of key misconceptions out there that I am led to straighten out because an important time in God's plan is approaching. What I am sharing goes back as far as 1985 when God took me into a special season of discovery on this whole subject. Then these things seemed far off and I was restrained from writing about it, but now they seem imminent, which is probably why I now sense an urgency from God to write it down and pass it on. I haven't gone for a great deal of detail, but I've tried to focus on the things that really matter to you. For those that are scared by this whole subject let me urge you to take that fear to God because the Book of Revelation promises a real blessing to those that receive its message. Every God given promise in the scriptures holds true for you as a child of God if you have Jesus in your heart, even if the sea gets rough. What you need now is for God to fully and thoroughly prepare your heart and mind for those times to come.
